(Baby) Hully Gully was performed only once by the Grateful Dead on October 16, 1981. The version of the song on the Jerry Garcia box set All Good Things is a previously unreleased studio outtake from the 1975 Reflections recording sessions.

The song sometimes occurs on recordings as Baby Hully Gully or just Hully Gully.

Following the success of (Baby) Hully Gully a number of 'Hully Gully' songs were recorded in the late 50's and early 60's to cash in on the Hully Gully dance craze. These include Hully Gully Again, Hully Gully Twist and Hully Gully Callin' Time.
