The Load-Out
Composer: Jackson Browne

Bruce Hornsby possibly played on The Load-Out with The Sensitive Ones in September 1999. The Sensitive Ones were a group, put together for one short tour, that included Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin, Bruce Hornsby, David Lindley & Wally Ingram.

The song was first released on the Jackson Browne live album Running On Empty and on a single at the end of 1977. In live performances at that time The Load-Out segued into the Maurice Williams song Stay and these two songs occur together on the Running On Empty LP and are side A and Side B of the single. The combination of The Load-Out and Stay reached #20 in the Billboard Hot 100.
