The first Rag Baby EP produced to be distributed in an envelope with pages from Rag Baby magazine. It includes two tracks by Country Joe & The Fish and two by Peter Krug. Country Joe & The Fish were originally formed to record the music for this EP.
I Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag and Superbird are by Country Joe & The Fish;
Fire in the City and Johnny's Gone to the War are by Peter Krug;
This 7" 'LP' (played at LP speed) was distributed in a printed envelope (the front of which is shown above) together with pages from the Rag Baby magazine. The issue was Volume 1, Issue A and was produced in October 1965. Originally only 100 copies were pressed.
The musicians credits include, 'U.S. Establishment - war', a note is attached to this on the rear of the pamphlet;
