Crazy Words, Crazy Tune
Composer: Milton Ager / Jack Yellen

Crazy Words, Crazy Tune was performed by Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions in 1964.

The original song title was probably Crazy Words, Crazy Tune (Vo Do De O). On recordings it sometimes occurs with a subtitle along the lines of Vo-Do-Do-De-O-Do or Vo-Do-De-O Blues but most usually occurs as just Crazy Words, Crazy Tune. This song also occurs as Washington At Valley Forge.

Crazy Words, Crazy Tune was written by Ager and Yellen in 1926 and probably introduced and popularised by Irving Aaronson and the Commanders though many versions of the song were recorded in the early months of 1927.
