Jack O'Roses is the sixth song in the full Terrapin Station Suite. The lyrics are published in A Box of Rain: Lyrics 1965-1993. The song has been performed and recorded by Robert Hunter.

The song is credited to just Robert Hunter on the Jack O'Roses LP. However Robert Hunter noted in his journal in 2003 that the song:

"is a Garcia composition, one he never played. Not because he didn't like it, but he was never keen to add lyric parts to a song already recorded."

Phil Lesh played a version of the song with the Terrapin Family Band in 2017. This version used Hunter's lyrics, with some small changes, set to different music. The music was probably by Brian Lesh and/or Grahame Lesh.
