No musician credit is given for pedal steel on the original album or on this compilation but there is a pedal steel guitar on the track.

However the information given in this compilation indicates that the track was recorded in London which given the Dead's extensive touring in 1972 or 1973 would limit the possibility of Garcia being present, except of course if recorded during the Dead's European tour in spring 1972. (No recording date is given in the notes)
