Alabama Getaway

Alabama Getaway was first performed by the Grateful Dead in November 1979. It was played very regularly during the early years of the 1980's but gradually disappeared from the repertoire toward the end of the decade. The song was not performed during the 1990-1994 period but resurfaced for a handful of performances in 1995.

The version of Alabama Getaway that is included in the Jerry Garcia box set All Good Things is a previously unreleased studio recordings from Spring 1979.
