The Ace Of Cups Discography

The Ace Of Cups were one of very few all female groups playing rock music on the West Coast in the second half of the 1960s. The group were formed in early 1967 in San Francisco. The original members were; Denise Kaufman, Mary Ellen Simpson, Marla Hanson, Mary Gannon and Diane Vitalich. They performed from mid-1967 onwards including regular appearances at the major Bay Area venues, including the Avalon, Fillmore and Winterland, during 1968 and 1969. They released no recordings. The group continued into the 1970's but this period saw a number of personnel changes. The group disbanded in 1972. The original members got together to celebrate the release of the Big Beat compilation of unreleased Ace Of Cups material. In 2017-18 four of the original members, together with a number of guest, recorded the first Ace Of Cups album.
