Dark Star Orchestra Discography
Dark Star Orchestra (DSO) was formed in 1997 by John Kadlecik and Scott Larned to perform shows based on the set lists of specific Grateful Dead shows. The group played their first show in November 1997. The group recreate Dead shows from every era, matching personnel and equipment as well as set list. DSO also occasionally use original set lists and add JGB songs to a show. By October 2004 they reached their 1000th show. The group have been joined by many guests over the years including Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Donna Jean Godchaux-Mackay, Vince Welnick, and Tom Constanten.
