Fantasy Records: 24700 Debut Series LPs This page lists releases in the Fantasy Records 24700 series of LPs. Fantasy Records bought the Prestige Records catalog in 1971. Folk, blues and jazz material from the Prestige catalog was released by Fantasy on a series of double LPs with 24700 catalog numbers. This series continued until 1982. The series was then unused for a few years and restarted in 1994 with CD releases. The last few double LP releases and the CD releases mainly compile music that had earlier been released on Fantasy rather than Prestige.
