A soundtracks album released in conjunction with the Long Strange Trip documentary film about the Grateful Dead. The album combines live and studio tracks most of which have been previously released. There are seven previously unreleased tracks. Long Strange Trip was released in a two main versions: a standard 2 CD edition and an amazon.com 3 CD edition. The amazon edition was also released as a six LP set. A 'highlights' double LP was also released.
