Missing Man Formation
Missing Man Formation was formed in 1996 by Vince Welnick. The initial line-up of the band was: Vince Welnick (keyboards, vocals), Steve Kimock (guitar, vocals), Bobby Vega (bass, vocals), and Prairie Prince (drums, vocals). Bobby Strickland (reeds, synthesizer, vocals) joined the group for some shows.
The band performed intermittently through the 1990's and the line-up changed. Other musicians who were part of the group at some time include:
John Wedemeyer, Mark Holzinger, Robin Sylvester, Terry Haggerty, Trey Sabatelli, and John-Morgan Kimock. Guests who joined Missing Man Formation during shows include: Todd Rundgren, Diana Morgano, Jimmy Herring and Alphonso Johnson.
