Promos, samplers and other non-commercial releases
This is a selected discography of promotional releases by the Grateful Dead or members of the Grateful Dead. The list is not comprehensive. The main focus of this page is on singles, samplers and albums that were released for promotional rather than commercial purposes.
There is some duplication between this page and the Grateful Dead discography page. A number of promotional singles are the same as the commercial singles except for the color of the label. A number of samplers hover somewhere between commercial and promotional and are therefore included on both lists.
